Overview

Like many entrepreneurs these days, Deb Enders started her business career in corporate America. She worked for Tellabs for 20 years, but most people know that Tellabs went through a series of downsizings and lay-offs. Because of Debs time with Tellabs, she got an early retirement package, and pursued a business of her own.

That first and still active business is a Message Therapy business. She has always been passionate about message therapy, having offered her services to friends and family for years. But with the retirement package and time on her hands, she was ready to make a real business out of it. She has been doing this now for over two years, and works out of her home, or visits her clients at their home.

But, one business was not enough. Deb wanted another income stream, one that would not take a lot of her time.

With Leo’s assistance, she found The Dry Cleaning Station.

Today, we’re going to learn how she started a brick and mortar business without a brick and mortar location.

Steve described techniques for managing your time. Small business owners often have so much to do that they get caught up in the minutiae. Prioritizing the work that needs to be done and getting it scheduled on your calendar is key to effective time management.

Overview

Snap Fitness is a different kind of fitness facility. The concept has retained the most important aspects people want in a workout center, and eliminated non-essentials, thereby reducing the expense of starting up a unit. This franchise is well-suited for someone looking for semi-absentee ownership and a chance to own multiple units. The opportunity is enormous – Snap Fitness plans on having 6,000 units eventually, and there are just 300+ nationwide so far.
