As an Executive Coash, Michael works with individuals and organizations to assist them in getting in touch with their core values. Michael believes that once people are aware of their values, and start to honor these values, individuals, companies and organizations start to be more profitable, productive, creative and successful.

Michael also has a Life Coaching practice, Stoller Coaching, where he works with individuals, couples and families to create lives that inspire them. He focuses on issues such as life balance, time management, effective communication, relationships and goal setting.

Feed My Starving Children is a non-profit organization that provides nourishing food to malnourished children in countries all over the world.

Using an entrepreneurial approach, they have reduced their overhead to a mere 5%. They rely heavily on volunteers – who give two hours of their time – to pack food for shipment. They also utilize missionary networks already in place in foreign countries to distribute the food.

Feed My Starving Children will be opening three warehouses in the Chicago area, and will be able to provide aid to MILLIONS of children through the world. Watch for more information regarding their upcoming drive Sept 22-27, 2007 in Naperville.

Our guest today, Heidi Morrissey, is the daughter of the founder for Kitchen Tune-up, an over 20 year old franchise. Heidi noted that home improvement is a $265 BILLION industry. They offer a variety of ways to upgrade a kitchen (from completely new to refacing), bathroom (new to relining), and flooring.

They pride themselves on their “trust points” which are promises to their customers. Key points are: being on time and daily clean-up. There is plenty of opportunity within their concept even though they already have 300 franchisees.

Less than 20% of their current franchisees have a construction background. They find that what works best are people with some sales and marketing experience, people management skills, and an ability to manage multiple projects at a time.
